WTF were they thinking with the back of that car. It's the ugliest Accord ever made by far! In my opinion at least...
Here's the back. ewwwwww

I think is ok, but I like the 5th gens better.
My order of liking:
5th, 6th, 7th, 4th, 3rd
7th might go before 6th, but I'm not sure yet. I'd like to see one that's hooked up.

I'm not a big fan of it at all. It looks like a rental car that you would get from a rental car place. The two door is a little better looking but I don't know who was thinking what when that car was designed. Does anyone know what is going on with Preludes?

they arn't making them anymore....from what i understand they are making a "new" prelude...but acura and honda are merging in the US in the next 2yrs so i think they will wait until everything is under Honda....

aww man i got the new accord 4 door. at first i was pondering whether or not to get it. i wasnt really feeling the back either. but after taking it for a test drive, i wanted it. there is some shiet i dont like...its a bit longer and wider than my old accord. so it makes parking in boston a bit challenging. but i needed a new car and wanted to stick with honda. every day i am slowly liking it more and more....but everyday i am kind of wishing i got the V6

i drove the car, the v6 and i think it brakes fater than it accelerates. it drives nice and i think it's a step up from the previous generations but i don't like the shape of the car.

I'm sure you can change out the lights for something that'd look nice, add a body kit and the 7th gen will be crazy cool. Still, if I were to get a new Accord I'd definitely go for a coupe.

Thanks....hmm. If it comes out anything like the new Accord did, I'm going to be pretty pissed off. I was looking to buy a Prelude about a year ago and I just decided to keep my Accord because I would have lost all this money because my car's not worth as much as I owe on my loan. I kind of wish that I just did it.

I have a 7th gen exv6 sedan, and I know a lot of people think its ugly but its not bad in person, I do hope a good body kit and/or conversion comes out though. I have also noticed that the same people think the 4th and 5th gen accords are the most beautiful cars on the road... they look like small economy cars (not to mention how slow they are). After driving this car for a month, I can't believe anyone would compare it with the 6th gen (which is actually a decent car) let alone the 5th/4th gen! The handling and power have been improved to such a degree, its hard to think of it as a traditional accord. Everything from the chasis, engine, and suspension to the interior have been designed superbly, I havnt driven a car yet that gives me the same feeling except maybe the 3 series bmw and mbenz c-class.

I agree that the new generation Accord sedan is not as nice looking as the coupe, but, as a family man, I'll stick with the sedan. Regardless of the rear end, it IS still a Honda, and it is redesigned, so give it some time.

as i said before i drove the 2003 ex v6 sedan, and it didn't feel like a beemer. it felt more likea lexus es 300, which seems to totally disconect you from the road. i agree the interior is a lot better than every accord made so far, but that sport feeling it's just not there.

I meant to say that the way it all fits together, as a design comes, close to the bmw 3 series (obviously the purpose of each design is different respectively). I have a 6th (and 4th) gen too, and the 7th gen's handling is much more precise, it goes where u want it to. The 6th gen seems more "sloppy", high speed handling has changed too. Going 90+ in the 7th gen feels serene while I can't say the same thing about the 6th gen (and definately not the 4th gen!). Overall with the accord, I feel Honda has taken their cars to a new level.

High speeds feel great in the 5th gens though.

I saw the ugliest one yet. It had a little extension coming off the trunk parallel with the road that somehow seemed to accentuate the fact that the lights don't look right at all. I've driven a 5th gen Accord and a 6th gen Accord. Although I don't know what the 7th feels like, I can tell you that with my manual transmission, I feel as one with the car and the road. I can't wait to add Eibach springs and Koni yellows. Then I will reach Enlightenment with my car.:ricer:

yeah the japanese/euro 7th gen is really sweet looking. glad to see it coming here.
as for our 7th gen i really like the coupe even in all of its bigness, but the sedan doesnt look good to me. looks a lot like the new camry in its overall shape. and i hate bubbly looking cars.
honestly though there hasnt been an accord sedan that ive liked besides the 5th. the 6th gen sedan is one of the ugliest looking cars ive ever seen. most people say its more unorignal than anything, but i just hate it! just my personal taste of course

Hmmm...I think this car has tons of potential....just had the tint done a few days ago...20% all the way around...working on getting some 18" rims in the next couple of months. :D
I had the choice of getting a 2002 EX for cheaper than the 2003 LX and hands down after driving the 2003 I had to have it. With just the tinted windows alone this car is a real head turner.

i agree with the ridiculously oversized emblems being ugly, but take those off, and the 2 door doesnt look that bad

The rear end of the 03' Accord looks like the back end of an older infiniti J30.

it looks like they took too much time on the driving feel of the new accord that they forgot about the design.
It seems like they took the lights from a previous civic, cut the top of the brake lights off of the 6th gen accord, put it together and it's a new accord!!!
The coupe looks alright, but when you look from the back, it seems very similar to a benz, at least in my opinion.
i feel the same about the celicas. took too much time on the front and chopped off the back.
